 Minister launches website for Saudi participation at Casablanca book fair

 Pavilion to show 2000 titles, holy mosques model and Kiswah

His Excellency Minister of Higher Education Dr. Khalid ibn Mohammad Al Anqari launched yesterday Tuesday at his office the website of Saudi participation at Casablanca Book Fair 2012.  Minister was briefed on the contents of the Saudi pavilion which spans 430 sq. meters and hosts about 2000 titles in several disciplines.  The pavilion also has a lecture room and a stand offering book sales.  There will be also a reading place for children in addition to media aids.  Also hosted at this year participation is a mini-scale model of the two holy mosques and a documentary film on the architecture of these shrines.  Similarly, pavilion will show a dedicated section for Kaabahs' Kiswah, the pall cover of Kaabah, and a worker of the Kiswah factory presenting his craft in front of visitors.

The Saudi participation will feature an academic and culture program that holds several lectures and seminars delivered by notable scholars and literature figures of Saudi Arabia along with the participation of fellow scholars and thought leaders of Morocco.

HE Minister lauded the program and the work plan after their briefing and wished all the success of this participation towards highlighting the academic, culture and civilization features of the Kingdom under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his loyal Crown Prince.​
