Minister signs 22 contracts for university projects totaling more than 2 billion SR

HE Minister of higher education Dr. Khalid ibn Mohammad Al Anqari signed yesterday Tuesday at his office in Jeddah a total of 22 project contracts for a number of emerging universities at several governorates summing more than 2 bn. SR.
These projects worth 1.700 bn. SR will be undertaken to construct administration and support deanships facilities of Al Baha University, college of engineering , the teaching hospital and town site preparation works of University of Ha'il, administration , support deanships and faculty housing complex of University of Tabuk, town site preparation works of Jazan University, community college of Taibah University, faculty housing complex of Islamic University and the faculty housing buildings of Umm Al-Qura University.
His Excellency also signed 5 contracts for colleges of science interior furnishing works at universities of Al Baha, Jazan, Ha'il, Al Kharj and Azulfi college of science, with a total of more than 230 million Riyals.
Minister Al Anqari also inked 7 contracts for preparation and furnishing of community colleges affiliated to universities of Al Baha, Jazan, Ha'il, Al Kharj, Almajmaah, Shagra and Hafr Al Batin community college; all worth more than 181 million Riyals.
His Excellency Dr. Al Anqari expressed deepest thanks and appreciation to the leadership of the Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah ibn Abdulaziz and HRH Crown Prince Sultan and HRH Second Deputy Premier Prince Nayif , may Allah save them, for their generous and noble care to members and organizations of the higher education sector.
