A National Center

Home, education, and future..

Amongst these three identities, there are intersections with a very tight links. On the basis of these linkages, the National Center for e-learning and Distance Learning has been established. The future of education is the future of the nation and e-learning is the future of education. The center, which adopts the education of the future, is, in fact, the guardian of the future of the country!

When we say «a national center»..

The horizons of the space extended over six thousand seven hundred square kilometers, which are considered as the boundaries of the Kingdom!

When we say «a national center» ..

History extends to meet all generations to live in the land of the Two Holy Mosques.

When we say «a national center» ..

The hope for a bright future Extend to the borders of that place within that time.

E-Learning

E-Learning is not just an «added value» to facilitate and accelerate traditional education. It is an evolving environment integrated with various elements of the educational process, in order to be enriched from within.
E-Learning does not only provide massive information «vessels», but It also stimulates in the learning mechanisms of information acquisition, its processing, and sharing with others in its construction, and conversion into interactive positive information.

Distance Learning

Distance learning is not just bringing time and space closer..
It is an interactive presence, allowing all parties to perform all educational activities at any time, and from any place.
Distance Learning is not «the easiest way» to get a certificate without attending…
It is an effective method to raise the quality of education, because it allows both teacher and learner to choose the most suitable time and space for them to meet and interact.

Our Mission:


The educational process is based on three pillars: Teacher, educational content, and the learner. Our task - in short – is to redefine these three pillars and their involvement in order to create a civilization leap, emerging from the higher education sector and stretching, in the remote horizon, to make learning general principle knowledge, and a daily culture of the various members of the community.

Teacher

Teacher is our field partner and one of the main elements in the educational process. That is for a teacher who adopts the transition towards e-learning will affect all other elements. Therefore, we put our most important partner in the top rank and provide him with all forms of support to help achieve the goals.

Educational Material

Every educational material is developed depending on the specialty to which they belong.
We cannot at the National Center for e-learning and Distance Learning develop the scientific content as a whole, yet our main concern is to develop the instructional design, the technical aspects of the courses, and methods of interaction, all of which would result in a comprehensive enrichment and integration of the various components of the educational materials.

The Learner

A unique learner is -in fact- the difference we seek to achieve as our primary beneficiary. While we focus on the learner, being the most important element to utilize e-learning techniques, we, however, foresee the future, in which the e-learning infrastructure would spread all over the Kingdom, widening the umbrella of all types of education to cover all societies; teacher and learner.

Vision:


The educational tools and modern pedagogy methods are realizing the potential of education process. In fact, they have greater impact and significant effect upon education. We are fully aware that neither «e-learning» nor «distance learning» should be simple educational goals. Thus, we have made our main goal is to have the most accurate design using the best tools and pedagogy to achieve the society and community needs in the higher education sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
