Objectives of the center :
Higher Education Statistics Center aims at achieving the following objectives :
Collecting and saving data, statistical information related to the Education in the Kingdom and arranging them in a unified databases that include :
1- Information of Teaching Staff and the Employees
2- Information of the new, enrolled and graduate students
3- Budgets and expenses, etc
And all elements included in these factors or variables
Securing the correct statistical data and information for the concerned officers in the Higher Education and Researchers
Conducting statistical studies
Raising the awareness concerning the importance of the statistical information and studies
Cooperation with the centers and related organizations inside and outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Tasks of the center :
Within the industrious endeavors to achieve the objectives of the center, the center takes charge of some of the tasks as follows :
Collecting the information of the Higher Education within a comprehensive and periodical manner in all institutions of higher education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Verifying the correctness of the incoming data from the higher education institutions
Classification of the higher education information statistically and saving them in the databases of the center
Setting up a system of information exchange among the center and the related bodies
Conducting the statistical analytical descriptive studies on the available data to the center
Issuing statistical indictors about the Higher Education and its institutions
Conducting the predictive statistical studies to the important variables in the higher education and determining a schedule to them
Raising the reports concerning the important statistical indicators and their change within time in the higher education to the concerned bodies
Issuing booklets, guides, statistical and guiding publications (paper, or electronic copies) about the Higher Education in the Kingdom
Correspondence with the informational means concerning the statistical information about High Education
Submitting the service of saving the required statistical information and data to the concerned bodies inside and outside the Kingdom as well as Researchers and the interested persons in the Higher Education in the Kingdom
