Equivalency Request

First : Associate and Bachelor Certificates

1. Original certificate plus original transcript for all study years, attested by the Saudi cultural mission in the certificate issuing country or by the Saudi embassy in countries where no cultural attaché is available.  Certificate attestation covers content and authenticity
2. A transcript of transfer credit hours from other universities or colleges in case accredited by the issuing university , attested by the cultural attaché at the country of study
3. Original Saudi General Secondary Education Certificate (Tawjihiyah), or equivalent certificate in case of non-Saudi secondary schooling.  Secondary school certificate equivalency falls within the competence of the Ministry of Education
4. A proof that study were conducted full-time at the country of study, i.e. a copy of passport showing whole duration of study
5. Internship year completion certificate for holders of MBBS or BDM, attested by cultural attaché at the country that issued the certificate
6. Equivalency request application (to be downloaded from ministry website, filled and attached)
7. Photocopy of Saudi National ID card
8. Translation of educational qualifications attested by the concerned agency that govern non-Arabic and non-English certificates and transcripts

Second : Diplom and Master Certificates

1. Completion of all requirements mentioned above in First, and attachment of original Bachelor certificate if obtained from Saudi Arabia
2. Original Diplom or Master certificate plus an original transcript attested by Saudi cultural attaché at the country where certificate was issued, or from Saudi embassy if a cultural attaché is unavailable to attest authenticity and content of certificate
3. Softcopy (on a compact disc) of the thesis in case a thesis was a degree requirement. If the master is old to the extent that it is impossible to provide a softcopy then a hard copy is sufficient

Third : Doctorate Certificates

1. Completion of all requirements mentioned above in parts First and Second , and attachment of original Master certificate if issued from Saudi Arabia
2. Original Doctorate certificate plus an original transcript attested by Saudi cultural attaché at the country where certificate was issued, or from Saudi embassy if a cultural attaché is unavailable to attest authenticity and content of certificate
3. Softcopy (on a compact disc) of the thesis in case a thesis was a degree requirement. If the master is old to the extent that it is impossible to provide a softcopy then a hard copy is sufficient

Important Notices :

1. For all certificates, transcripts and required documents mentioned above, two copies should be attached
2. Both sides (front and back) of all attached documents should be photocopied
3. A separate equivalency application should be filled for each academic degree. All non-Saudi degrees prior to the degree to be equivalent should be submitted for equivalency too
