General Objective :

Assurance of effective coordination with government and private universities, agencies outside kingdom concerned with higher education and academic research , and the regional and international agencies and organizations

Organizational Position :

Linked directly to the Minister

Duties :

1. Follow-up and full utilization of department resources and capabilities in doing assigned jobs
2. Proposal of laws, bylaws and regulations related to departments' field of work and following up their application once approved
3. Coordination with concerned administrative units of the ministry with regard to the preparation and implementation of the department annual plan and annual budget and following up implementation after approval
